Language Instruction for Newcomers (LINC) Program

• Funded by the Federal Government of Canada (IRCC - Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada)

• Free English classes delivered in group settings

• Format: in-person, online

• Levels: Beginner to Intermediate (Pre-CLB to CLB 4) - Canadian Language Benchmark 

• Locations for in-person or blended classes: (see map at the bottom of page)

• Support services for eligible clients:

  • Free childminding services for LINC students' children (aged 6 months to 6 years; age eligibility may vary by location)

  • Transportation tickets for eligible clients
